The pathology of melanoma: an international course

This is an exciting opportunity to view a world renowned collection of dermatopathology slides. This conference has been run in the United Kingdom for the past 24 years. The conference for the first time was held in Sydney in 2012 and again in 2014 to great acclaim. The course will be run over 5 full days and will consist of a series of lectures, case vignettes and an opportunity for personal viewing of the extensive slide collection. The lectures will be given by Drs. Eduardo Calonje, Dr Thomas Brenn and Bostjan Luzar. Dr Calonje MD DipRCPath is the Director of Dermatopathology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. Dr Brenn MD PhD FRCPath is a consultant dermatopathologist and honoury senior lecturer at the Western General Hospital and University of Edinburgh. Dr Luzar MD PhD is a consultant dermatopathologist from Slovenia. All three speakers are leaders in their field, have published extensively and are text book authors. Places are limited to 48.

The course is suitable for histopathologists and dermatologists with an interest in dermatopathology and trainee registrars in pathology and dermatology.

Ocular lymphoma has many clinical manifestations, ranging from conjunctival masses to vitreous opacities.

It can range from mature B cell lymphomas to high grade primary CNS-type lymphomas involving the vitreous and retina.

In response to many requests for a practical update on ocular lymphoma, we are delighted to invite you to the 2016 Ocular Oncology Symposium Series on Ocular Lymphoma.
